Workshop Overview

In developing effective leaders in today’s rapidly changing world, ongoing feedback is critical to a leader’s long-term success. The Leaders of Leaders Program is an engaging, world-class learning experience that focuses on providing leaders with an understanding of what it takes to lead successful organizations in the 21st century. Heightened self-awareness helps leaders leverage their natural strengths and helps them find ways to address their developmental areas in a positive, productive way. In turn, enhanced self-awareness gained through feedback tools helps leaders:

  • Understand and adapt their behaviors to rapidly changing circumstances

  • Develop much more effective strategies for leading their associates

In this highly interactive, feedback-intensive 3½-day program, participants are immersed in a powerful workshop that focuses on building a keen understanding of the individual’s leadership strengths and developmental opportunities. The workshop also includes feedback on behavioral preferences and thinking styles illustrated by the completion of and feedback on multiple psychometric assessment instruments.

Dr. Dan Bachrach

Dr. Dan Bachrach


Daniel (Dan) Bachrach is a professor and a Robert C. and Rosa P. Morrow Endowed Faculty Excellence Fellow in the Management Department at The University of Alabama. He joined UA as a faculty member in August of 2002 and was promoted to full professor in 2014. Bachrach’s research has focused primarily on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), transactive memory systems (TMS), corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sales team performance. He is co-author or co-editor of nine books, including Handbook of Behavioral Operations Management (Oxford University Press 2015), as well as two top-selling management textbooks, Management 13 (Wiley, 2015) and Exploring Management 6e (Wiley, 2017).

Bachrach received a BA in psychology from Bates College (Lewiston ME, 1995), a MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin (Oshkosh, 1997) and a PhD in organizational behavior/Human Resources from Indiana University (Bloomington, 2002). His teaching recognition includes the 2017 National Alumni Association Outstanding Commitment to Teaching Award (OCTA). The OCTA is the University’s highest honor for excellence in teaching. Bachrach serves on the editorial boards of two of his field’s leading journals, the Journal of Applied Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.

Dr. Robert K. Prescott has spent twenty years in industry and as many years teaching in academic positions. He is currently Director-Corporate Engagement for The University of Alabama and has most recently served for sixteen years as Graduate Faculty of Management at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. His personal teaching expertise and research focuses on all aspects of human resource management, leadership, organization behavior, training & development and enterprise consulting. He is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, holds a B.S. in Marketing from The University of Alabama and a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from The Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Curtis D. Curry


President of Quality Learning International, Curtis D. Curry has over 25 years of leadership experience working with global organizations in the human and organizational performance improvement field. His experience includes consulting with companies in the areas of organizational change, global leadership, communicating across cultures, teambuilding, leading global teams, creating high-potential leadership programs and providing one-on-one coaching for leaders around the globe. In addition to his consulting work with businesses, he has spearheaded the development of more than 150 courses and workshops. 

Curry has trained over 40,000 leaders and individual contributors from dozens of organizations including Honeywell Aerospace, Harris, United Space Alliance, Ricoh, Roche Diagnóstica do Brasil, BHP Chile, AT&T, Coca Cola, Disney, Tupperware, New Piper Aircraft, Kraft Brazil, Heinz, Colgate, Peabody Energy and Anadarko. He speaks Spanish (has taught more than 50 leadership workshops in Spanish), Portguese and French. He has facilitated leadership development programs in North America, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Shanna is the founding partner of PBC Professional Development Consultants, offering specialized consulting and training programs empowering clients to be more successful in all aspects of their business engagements. She has worked with a wide range of professionals teaching them the art and practice of effective interactions and communications with clients and between colleagues. Ullmann has over 20 years of hands-on human relations, executive education and corporate training experience advising business leaders, universities, the US military and US Federal government organizations on Leadership Development, Cross Cultural Communications, Professional Etiquette and Protocol, Business Communications, Mediation and Workplace Conflict Resolution.

CEO and CCO (Chief Coaching Officer) of Quality Learning International, Patricia Hernández Curry has over 15 years of leadership experience working in the human performance improvement field. Certified in Cultural Detective, the Conflict Dynamics Profile and Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), she coaches and trains individuals in leadership, communicating across cultures, adjusting to life in the USA and successfully adapting to different cultures. She has facilitated the multi-day Liderazgo Efectivo (Leadership Effectiveness Workshop) in Latin America for managers and executives from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, Miami and Mexico. She has worked with corporate clients Ricoh, Unilever, Oracle, Sun Nuclear and University of Alabama’s executive education group. She manages day-to-day operations of QLI, a consulting business that provides coaching, leadership training, instructional design work, and intercultural communications training. Patricia speaks French and is bilingual English/Spanish.
